Housing two performing spaces, The Playhouse and The Studio, Vertigo Theatre produces a mystery series (Vertigo Mystery Theatre) and presents theatre-for-young-audience productions from across the country (Y Stage Series).
Vertigo Theatre also offers significant rental opportunities to other arts and corporate organizations and is home to Gallery 2005, a visual art gallery from the collections of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts and the Calgary Allied Arts Foundation.

Formed on July 1, 1968, Theatre Calgary was based at the former QR Centre before moving into EPCOR CENTRE’s Max Bell Theatre in 1985. Along with Alberta Theatre Projects and the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Theatre Calgary was one of EPCOR CENTRE’s three original resident companies.
