Commissioning these artists to produce designs SPECIFICALLY for YellowMan has been long in the making and continues to be a labor of love. Many of these tattoo masters are extremely difficult to contact, and their works of art are very hard to come by. Receiving actual tattoos from these artists can be truly expensive (and painful) and can take over a decade to complete.

Many YellowMan garments are essentially custom made. For shirts, the tattoo artist first paints a front piece, a back piece, and the sleeves. YellowMan garments are constructed after they are printed, with the pieces being hand-cut and sewn together to create the complete work of wearable art. This is not your average, slap-a-print-on-a-shirt procedure.

The process of commissioning the original tattoo art, along with the process of custom construction and superior printing on premium fabrics makes YellowMan a true benchmark for collectible, wearable art.
